For stunning, panoramic views of the rugged Northern Irish coastline and the Mull of Kintyre in Scotland, take the winding roads to Torr Head. It is approximately 45 minutes away from Carnlough by car. Please note that road is not suitable for buses, caravans, or RVs.
Further up the coast (10-15 minutes) is Murlough Bay, which has been used to film multiple Game of Thrones scenes, including when Theon Greyjoy returns home on horseback with Yara.
Another 10 minutes on from Murlough Bay is Fair Head, the tallest cliff face in Northern Ireland; it’s an iconic feature in the landscape, with walking paths available for visitors.
